As we approach the end of 2024, it’s the perfect time to reflect on a transformative year for Codacy.

Here’s a roundup of the milestones that have defined the growth of our platform and successes of our customers.

Enhancing Security with a Holistic Approach

In 2024, Codacy solidified its position as a leader in software security by addressing six of the seven critical security pillars defined in late 2023: SAST, SCA, Secrets Detection, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Penetration Testing, DAST, and CSPM on its way in 2025.

This strategic expansion has empowered organizations to secure their development pipelines comprehensively.

Tools like Trivy and Semgrep became top choices for repositories, emphasizing our commitment to developer-friendly solutions.

Our Security and Risk Management Dashboard has become indispensable, with over 1,500 monthly customer views.

Expanding Feature Set for Better Quality and Coverage

Last but not least, we continued work on giving our customers even more customization options by adding Segments for GitHub Custom Properties and a Backstage plugin.
