Create Jira Tickets for Issues in Codacy

An oft-asked-for feature has finally landed in Codacy; now, you can create Jira tickets for one or multiple Codacy issues from within the Codacy UI with just a few clicks.
First up, visit the integrations page for your organization within Codacy and find Jira in the list.
Click “Install Jira,” and you’ll be taken to the app install screen in Jira if you have the requisite permissions.
Note that this also installs the bridge to send Jira tickets back into Codacy to appear in SRM if they have the “security” label.
This is a nice reminder that you can use Codacy to manage any tools that we don’t support but that can push issues into Jira so that you can have all your security findings in one place.
Once the Jira integration is installed, you can click the three-dots button from the issues page to create a Jira ticket. We’ll prefill as many of the fields as possible, usually from your previous selection, to make it as easy as possible for you.
Sometimes, it’s helpful to be able to create a ticket for multiple issues at the same time. You can do this by filtering your issues down to less than 50, and then you’ll be able to create the ticket.
Either way, you get a modal with all the details for you to edit:
And when you do have linked issues, you’ll see them within the issues page:
It’s as simple as that!
